Canada Trip: Day 1

Today we got to Canada! It was a very long, but beautiful, drive. We left earlier this morning and drove for approximately 9 hours. We stopped a few times along the way in various towns. I slept most of the way due to curvy roads that were making me car sick. We got to the Canadian boarder and handed the boarder officer our passports and answered his questions. Then we were off  to drive to our hotel in Cardston. On our way through Canada, we saw a fence that had hats nailed to each fence post. It was the coolest thing I've seen someone do on a fence and now I regret that we didn't stop to take a picture.

We finally got to our destination and checked into our motel. It was a really nice place and the receptionist that checked us in was so nice.

On our way out of the motel to go do some site seeing, we found this weird bug on the wall outside our door. It looks like a mix between two different bugs.

We then went get dinner and look around town. Such a beautiful city!!
